Edgartown, MV, MA

You can make most photos bigger by clicking on them.

We'll stay here during the weekend storm.
Edgartown is on East side of MV below.

The entrance was skinny.

Claire picked up her first "mooring". The line with loop was neatly ready to pick up on top of the rounding mooring ball.

While Claire had a zoom meeting, Dave took off to explore.

We both went to town later and found a spot in the 2 deep rows of dinghy landing. The only place to leave your dinghy for more than 20 minutes.

View from Edgartown of area just outside entrance

We rented bikes

Had lunch at the Katama Kitchen at the Katama airport

We found out that Cachaca is a Brazilian white rum made with sugar cane. Must look for some.

The beach was just a few minutes away.

Huge triple-hung windows!

Back at the boat with the dinghy hanging on the davits, we knew Thunder would explore it. He got back onboard fine.

After Edgartown, Mon Aug 28, headed back to Vineyard Haven to wait out 2 rainy days before heading to Newport, then Fisher's Island.
