Our dinghy will need sun protection, chaps as they call them. Dave made patterns from plastic sheets and using perm marker to outline the seems and handles. Then cut them out on our tan Sunbrella. We moved the Sailrite machine to the garage to reduce trips for measuring and sewing.
First our dinghy with the old registration #s. 9 foot AB inflatable. We have # boards to hang over the chaps.
Inside seem kept down by velcro.
Purple rim line that goes all the way around cinched up.
This will be the cleanest it will be. It'll get rubbed on the sides and muddy water lines, but this Sunbrella will hold up nicely and we'll re-apply water protection next year if not before.
