Golden Deck
We got up at 5:30 am to beat the heat a few days last week to clean and apply Semco teak UV protection to the deck. Now it is evenly toned to a golden brown. Looks like freshly sanded.
There was some taping involved as you don't want to get it on the white paint, unless you wipe it off right away. Next year is repainting the white again, which is super picky stuff to apply with curing times and avoiding drips.

C&D Canal Museum in Chesapeake City, MD

In February, 2024, we finally took the time to visit the Canal Museum in Chesapeake City, MD. It has an original steam pump liftwheel, in the original building, that kept the topmost canal lock full of water from nearby water pools.
